Also Announce Debut LP, "Small Talk" Out in 2023
By: Press Release
The Cordial Sins are known for their meld of shoegaze, harmonious indie rock and a hint of grunge, having shared their performance on stages with the likes of The Breeders, Foals, Wolf Alice and more. Today, The Cordial Sins drop their new single, “Dog Days,” the band’s first release since 2019. It was written on the edge of the pandemic only to become Fisher’s personal anthem during moments of intense isolation and societal upheaval. “‘Dog Days’ is influenced by some of my favorite artists from the 90’s and early 00’s (i.e. Radiohead, Slowdive, Portishead) and the messages behind their music.”
The band, led by co-founders Liz Fisher (vocals, guitar, violin) and Corey Dickerson (guitar, vocals), gained momentum in 2019 with performances at Nelsonville Music Festival, Audiotree, and on support tours, along with their first label release, the In Memory EP (Diversion Records).
Their upcoming full-length debut of their album “Small Talk” will be released in 2023.
