To celebrate the first birthday of The Rolling Stones' 2023 album, Hackney Diamonds, a special vinyl edition is set to hit the shelves this winter (12/6). This 2LP release will not only include the hit singles “Angry,” “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” and “Mess It Up,” but also features seven live recordings from the album's launch event at Racket in New York City last October. Among these live gems is a sweet rendition of “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” featuring Le Lady Gaga, alongside performances of classics like “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.”
Scheduled for release on December 6, this limited edition vinyl commemorates a year since the Stones unveiled their first studio collection of original material in nearly two decades. Hackney Diamonds soared to the top of the charts, hitting #1 in 19 countries and selling over a million copies worldwide. The lead single, “Angry,” received a nomination for Best Rock Song at the 2024 GRAMMY® Awards and marked the Stones’ return to the UK Top 40 for the first time in 18 years.
